Narrow Band vs Broad Band DAS
Some manufacturers systems are "narrow band" meaning channelized which will only boost one band or part of a band and specific to a wireless provider.
For example, if we deploy our Telcosat RPT1900 wide band, band 2, has 60 megahertz of band width. This means wireless operators that operate in band 2 can simultaneously for example, Rogers, Bell Telus all get boosted at the same time with just one repeater. For areas with multiple wireless operators this has an advantage for greater cellular access.
If wireless operators only want a certain sized band-width Telcosat can accommodate that option at the time of ordering.
The same results would apply in the USA for carriers on band 2.
